Megyn Kelly isn’t impressed with Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s slideshow defense in the wake of New York Attorney General Letitia James’ investigation into accusations of sexual harassment.
The popular podcasting journalist took to Twitter this week to roast the New York Democrat after he claimed that his behavior — kissing and touching strangers, staffers and politicians — has always been innocent and influenced by his parents.
“Hey @NYGovCuomo,” Ms. Kelly tweeted Tuesday. “Is there a slideshow of your mom & dad grabbing behinds, sliding hands under blouses & feeling breasts, rubbing the stomach & tickling the spine of state troopers, kissing employees on the lips, asking staffers to touch & play strip poker w/them? We’ll wait.”
The message came after Ms. James held a press conference stating that “Gov. Cuomo sexually harassed current and former New York state employees by engaging in unwelcome and nonconsensual touching.”
Her remarks followed the work of independent investigators who reviewed over 74,000 pieces of evidence; they also conducted 179 interviews covering claims of harassment from 2013 through 2020.
“I’ve been making the same gesture in public all my life,” Mr. Cuomo told supporters of his propensity to grasp faces. “I actually learned it from my mother and from my father. It is meant to convey warmth, nothing more. … I do it with everyone.”

Not explored by Mr. Cuomo in his slideshow, for example, are the claims that he touched the chest and private area of a state trooper who he requested join his Protective Services Unit.
Powerful Democrats have distanced themselves from the mayor: President Biden, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, and New York’s two Democratic senators, Charles E. Schumer and Kirsten Gillibrand, all have urged Mr. Cuomo to resign.
Andrew Cuomo is actually gonna stay. Wow, yeah, this isn’t gonna end well. pic.twitter.com/h0d8girEjE
