Not all health care employees are heroes. A hero is a person admired for courage or noble qualities. Health care employees who perform abortions are not heroes.

Abortion is the deliberate termination of a human pregnancy. A common abortion procedure is dilatation and evacuation. While the pregnant woman is under anesthesia, a rigid suction tube is inserted into the uterus to “evacuate” the unborn baby. This method can be used for up to 20 weeks.

At 16 weeks, the baby’s eyes can blink and the heart and blood vessels are fully formed. The baby’s fingers and toes have fingerprints. At 20 weeks, the baby can suck a thumb, yawn, stretch and make faces. The mother can feel the baby move.

Harming the unborn is neither courageous nor noble. Heroes are supposed to help, not harm.
