Spotify made the popular “Joe Rogan Experience” podcast available through its audio streaming platform Tuesday, including most — but not all — of the show’s 1,500-plus episodes.

Notably absent from Spotify’s nearly complete library of comedian and commentator Joe Rogan’s podcast are episodes in which he spoke with some of his more controversial guests.

“JRE” episodes featuring Infowars publisher Alex Jones, Proud Boys founder Gavin McInnes and conservative commentator Milo Yiannopoulos are among dozens missing from Spotify.

Other episodes absent from the streaming service featured libertarian activist Adam Kokesh, conspiracy theorist David Seaman and comedian Tommy Chong, in addition to several more.

Entertainment Weekly first reported that “dozens of past episodes” of Mr. Rogan’s podcast were absent from his new Spotify channel shortly after it became operational Tuesday.

The Washington Times found more than 40 episodes of Mr. Rogan’s podcast that were available on his YouTube channel but not Spotify.

Mr. Rogan, 53, announced in May that he planned to move his long-running podcast exclusively to Spotify. Reporting at the time said he was paid about $100 million for the deal.

“Starting on Sept. 1, the entire JRE library will be available on Spotify as well as all the other platforms,” Mr. Rogan explained at the time. “And then somewhere around the end of the year it will become exclusive to Spotify, including the video version of the podcast.”

Messages requesting comment from Spotify and Mr. Rogan were not immediately returned.

Roughly 9.4 million users subscribe to Mr. Rogan’s channel on YouTube. One of his two interviews with Mr. Jones, the Infowars publisher, is the second-most-watched on the channel since it launched in 2013.
