All but four members of the New York Giants’ offensive line are in quarantine after one lineman tested positive for the coronavirus.
The Giants said in a statement Thursday that it sent the player —and everyone one in close contact with him — home. The team kept its facility open and Monday’s game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers is still on schedule.
Last week, the Las Vegas Raiders faced similar challenges with their offensive line in self-isolation, but those players were cleared in time for Sunday’s game.
The NFL Network first reported that the the majority of the Giants’ offensive line had been forced to quarantine.

The network reported that two Giants coaches were in close contact with the positive player, as well.

The players sent home are reportedly not considered high risk and could return to the facility on Friday.
Washington plays the Giants again in less than 10 days.
