OPINION:
A vote for Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden and his running mate Kamala Harris is a vote for communism. There’s no other way to paint it.
From Orlando just the other day, a jubilant Harris took the stage to scream, “Justice is on the ballot in 2020. Economic justice is on the ballot in 2020. Climate justice is on the ballot in 2020. Health care justice is on the ballot in 2020. Reproductive justice is on the ballot in 2020. Criminal justice reform is on the ballot in 2020.”
This is the language of communists. This is the rhetoric of communist revolutionaries trying to jumpstart an uprising against corrupt, mismanaged, tyrannical government.
And the problem here, of course, is that America is far from corrupt, mismanaged, tyrannical. In fact, the only tyranny that emerges in America’s political systems are those run by the Democrats — the very party that Harris represents. Check the coronavirus responses of Republicans versus Democrats for proof. Visit Georgia then Michigan then compare coronavirus notes for more proof.
Democrats truly have become the party of radical reds.
And they’re actively working to tear down the limited government constructs of America’s foundation. With lies.
There’s a big lie that all socialists-slash-communists-slash-Marxists-slash-collectivists sell — and sell well, as Harris just showed — and it’s one that goes like this: You’re not getting your fair share. Government is needed to give you your fair share.
Economic justice? Climate justice? Reproductive justice?
These are code phrases for government takeover.
It’s one thing to call for revolution against a government that is truly unjust, truly unfair, truly overburdensome and dictatorial — as our founders finally concluded, after much discussion and debate, about the king of England. It’s another thing entirely to pretend injustice where injustice doesn’t exist — where actually, the exact opposite exists — and to use that catcall as means of climbing a personal political ladder.
Capitalism is the freest form of economy in the world, the one that breeds the most creativity and highest production, the one that offers the best opportunity for individuals from all walks of life — rich, poor, what have you — to achieve financial and personal dreams. At its best, capitalism is inherently a great equalizer because it relies on consumers to weed out the charlatans, the fakers, the failures; it allows buyers to pick the winners and ignore the losers.
Socialism, communism, Marxism — these economies kill personal choice, kill individual creativity and motivation, kill competition, kill business and national growth. At the same time, socialism, communism, Marxism provide a means for government to control the masses; for bureaucrats to decide who wins, who loses, who gains, who suffers.
So when Harris clamors about “justice” — she’s not really talking about justice in the American way. She’s talking about the type of justice that government controls.
She’s talking opposite.
Just as “freedom is slavery” in George Orwell’s dystopian “1984,” “justice” through the prism of today’s Democrats, in the manner of a Biden-Harris hoped-for administration — or, make that Harris-Biden administration — is actually injustice. It’s actually un-American.
It’s actually the way of the collectivists and communists.
First comes the warm and fuzzy language, enticing and oh-so-tempting. Then comes the boot, stomping the faces of freedom. Remember: they say Adolf Hitler was a mesmerizing speaker. Words matter — and so does thinking.
