Rush Limbaugh’s revelation that he expects to die from cancer won much sympathy from his listeners and other radio hosts.
But not from Michael Savage.
Instead, the fellow conservative talk-radio kingpin poured ridicule on the segment as historically awful and vowed never to do it himself.
“Limbaugh’s crying about his cancer on air! Worst 15 minutes in radio history! Spilled a large coffee all over counter and floor,” Mr. Savage wrote Monday on Twitter.

He then broke into all capital letters to write, “I promise my audience this — I will not drag you down with me.”
Mr. Savage then offered Mr. Limbaugh “best wishes” but told him in the same breath to get off the stage.
“Stop and leave the stage with dignity,” he advised, going on to compare the show unfavorably to one of the most iconic moments in sports history.
“Compare this to Lou Gehrig in Yankee Stadium,” he wrote of the all-star first baseman’s “luckiest man on the face of the earth” farewell speech.
Mr. Savage’s criticism of the Limbaugh segment drew some bad reviews from conservative Twitter.
“Michael. Please delete,” wrote Sean Spicer, a former spokesman for President Trump.
