LAS VEGAS (AP) - Las Vegas police say nobody was injured when an altercation led to a shooting on the Strip.
The incident happened shortly before 1 a.m. Monday near Planet Hollywood.
Authorities say at least two men got into a fight on a pedestrian bridge and then one pulled out a gun. One shot was fired but did not strike anyone.
Lt. David Gordon says the gunfire caused several people to flee the area. But officers detained two men involved in the initial fight.
A third man returned to the scene. Police detained him, saying he was believed to have been involved.
The incident is the latest in recent string of shootings and dust-ups along the Strip. Clark County Sheriff Joe Lombardo has said he would boost the presence of officers in tourist areas.
