Silicon Valley’s anti-Trump tech titans received a $1 million boost to their super PAC from billionaire George Soros prior to the presidential election.

The Future Forward super PAC, which included support by Facebook co-founder Dustin Moskovitz, also had a financial helping hand from Mr. Soros’ Democracy PAC.

FEC records confirm a Soros donation of at least $1 million as of July, the media watchdog NewsBusters reported Monday.

Google CEO Eric Schmidt and Twilio founder Jeff Lawson also contributed to Future Forward’s $100 million plan to sway American voters prior to the election.

“Future Forward has stressed in these conversations [about an ad blitz] that it has unique abilities to measure and predict an ad’s effectiveness by deploying clever experiments,” Recode reported in late October. “The group has worked with other Democratic ad makers and its in-house team to make more than 100 different ads, although only about a dozen have made it to the airwaves.”

NewsBusters noted that Mr. Soros wealth also contributed to various left-wing groups leading up to Election Day.

“Democracy PAC has been funded by another Soros group, Fund for Policy Reform, with at least $72 million between January and September of this year,” the watchdog added. “Throughout this year alone, Democracy PAC has since contributed millions to leftist groups like: Priorities USA Action ($5 million), American Bridge 21st Century PAC ($2 million),and the radical abortion group NARAL Freedom Fund ($1 million).”
