The Ravens already face a difficult opponent on Thanksgiving — the undefeated Steelers.

Now, more positive coronavirus tests could make Thursday’s matchup even more difficult, should the game go ahead as scheduled. According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Baltimore has had five players and four staff members test positive this week. The Athletic’s Jeff Zrebiec reported that there have been “at least 10 positive tests” since Sunday night.

On Monday, the team announced running backs Mark Ingram and J.K. Dobbins tested positive. As of right now, the game is still on. But Schefter reported more positive tests could lead to a postponement.

The Ravens had initially closed their practice facility to conduct contact tracing efforts, which resulted in nose tackle Brandon Williams being deemed a “high-risk” close contact and joining Ingram and Dobbins on the reserve/COVID-19 list.

They reopened the training facilities Monday afternoon and held a masked walk-through that night as they prepared for Thursday’s game. But Baltimore reversed course Tuesday, announcing that all team activities would again be virtual.

“With the health and safety of players and staff remaining the highest priority, the Baltimore Ravens have determined that all further team activities will be conducted virtually today,” the Ravens wrote in statement. “Due to the condensed schedule and preparation for the Steelers game, the Ravens will cancel media availability for today.”
