Black men who support President Trump will “never, ever” receive forgiveness from Rep. Maxine Waters.

The California Democrat made the comment during a recent SiriusXM interview on “The Joe Madison Show.”

“He is not doing anything for us,” Ms. Waters said Oct 30 of the president’s track record. “For those Black young men who think somehow they can align themselves with Trump, not only are they terribly mistaken, any of them showing their face, I will never, ever forgive them for undermining the possibility to help their own people and their own communities.”

Mr. Trump has regularly touted successes with criminal justice reform, long-term funding for historically Black colleges, and economic opportunity zones as reasons why Black Americans should support his re-election.

Similarly, the president has pitched his “Platinum Plan” as a vehicle that will infuse $500 billion of capital into Black communities.

“It just hurts me so bad to see blacks talking about supporting Trump. I don’t know why they would be doing it. I don’t know what’s on their minds,” she added. “This man could end up winning again!”

The lawmaker concluded her remarks by saying it is “shameful” why “our young Black men” are gravitating toward Mr. Trump.
