OPINION:
With the hyped-up palaver of COVID-19, there is a unique opportunity for the first time in 244 years for the United States to go the way of a socialist dictatorship. And the likelihood of this virus being hyped up to the point that it ruins American democracy is incredibly high.
Masks now are a fashion statement, since they’ve created a billion-dollar industry worldwide. Those businesses furloughing their workers will have employees continue to receive government subsidies, which is socialism by any name. The continued autocratic wearing of masks? That’s dictatorship.
