The Washington Redskins are releasing their 2020 schedule early. And they’re having some star-studded guests to help them.
Actor Matthew McConaughey, former Ohio State coach Urban Meyer, “Friday Night Lights” director Peter Berg and Jon Bernthal will make separate appearances during the team’s first-ever schedule release party, the team announced Thursday. The event will start later this evening at 7 p.m.
At 7:30 p.m., Redskins coach Ron Rivera will join the show to provide instant reaction of the team’s schedule — a half hour before it was to be officially released by the NFL.
Fans can tune in to the show through the Redskins website or watch on the team’s social media platforms.
According to the Redskins, McConaughey and others will provide their outlook for how they think Washington will do in 2020.
