President Trump on Thursday nominated Virginia Lamp Thomas, wife of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, to the Library of Congress Trust Fund Board.
Mrs. Thomas is the founder of a nonprofit lobbying group, Liberty Central, that later merged with the Patrick Henry Center for Individual Liberty. A resident of Virginia, she is a columnist who also worked at The Heritage Foundation.
