Alex Ovechkin’s wife Nastya Shubskaya Ovechkina gave birth to the couple’s second son, Ilya Alexandrovich Ovechkin, early Wednesday morning.

“27.05.2020 Our son was born, Ilya Aleksandrovich Ovechkin,” Shubskaya wrote in Russian on Instagram. “55 cm 3800 g! We are the happiest.”

Ovechkin posted the same photo on his Instagram with his own message.

“Thank you, my beloved @nastyashubskaya, for our charming baby!” the Washington Capitals’ captain wrote, also in Russian. “I am the happiest! I love you very much! Ilya Aleksandrovich Ovechkin, welcome to this beautiful world, our boy!”

The Ovechkins had their first child, Sergei, in August 2018, shortly after Ovechkin and the Capitals won the Stanley Cup.

If 2020 hasn’t been most people’s favorite year for obvious reasons, several Capitals players will still have beautiful memories to look back on from this year. In March, T.J. Oshie and Nick Jensen each saw the birth of their sons mere days apart, and Nicklas Backstrom’s family welcomed their third child, a daughter named Alizee.

Here’s the happy couple with Ilya:
