August is a few short months away, and while we don’t know exactly how the NFL season will look due to the coronavirus pandemic, fans now have a four-game preseason slate to look forward to.
The Redskins announced their 2020 preseason schedule Friday, featuring three AFC South opponents followed by their traditional preseason foes, the Baltimore Ravens.
Washington will get the Tennessee Titans at home and the Indianapolis Colts and Jacksonville Jaguars on the road before hosting the Ravens in the fourth and final week of the preseason. As it happens, the Redskins are also scheduled to host the Ravens in Week 4 of the regular season next year.
The game at the Colts in the second week of preseason will be a nationally-televised “Monday Night Football” game on ESPN. Ironically, Washington did not receive a single prime-time game in its 2020 regular season slate. The Redskins also received a rare Saturday afternoon preseason game for when they host Tennessee in the opening week.
The other three games will be shown locally on NBC4 and NBC Sports Washington. Check out the full schedule below:
Saturday, Aug. 15: Tennessee Titans at Washington Redskins, 2 p.m., NBC4/NBC Sports Washington
Monday, Aug. 24: Washington Redskins at Indianapolis Colts, 8 p.m., ESPN
Saturday, Aug. 29: Washington Redskins at Jacksonville Jaguars, 7 p.m., NBC4/NBC Sports Washington
Thursday, Sept. 3: Baltimore Ravens at Washington Redskins, 7:30 p.m., NBC4/NBC Sports Washington
