KENT, Wash. (AP) - A man is recovering in the hospital after he was shot behind a Kent area Rite Aid.
KOMO-TV reports a spokesperson for Puget Sound Fire Department said a man was shot in the upper chest at about 6 p.m. Wednesday.
The victim was taken to Harborview Medical Center, the spokesperson said. There is no word on his condition.
Authorities were called to the 26100 block of Pacific Highway in Kent for the shooting, just behind a nearby Rite Aid.
It is unclear what led up to the shooting. Investigators did not have any details about a suspect in the shooting.
