CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. (AP) - The director of the FBI is coming to the Boston area to talk about how the agency is working to combat cyber threats.

Director Christopher Wray will be the keynote speaker at the fourth annual Boston Conference on Cyber Security at Boston College on Wednesday.

Wray is expected to talk about the importance of partnerships and the need for a more innovative approach when it comes to cybersecurity.

Assistant Attorney General for National Security John Demers is among other speakers expected at the conference.

The event is being put on by the FBI and the Masters in Cybersecurity Policy and Governance Program at BC’s Woods College of Advancing Studies.
