ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) - A worker died Thursday while working on a Virgin Trains project in Orlando, officials said.
Marcus Green, 33, and another employee were pulled into a pipe on Thursday morning while working to clear standing water that had accumulated over an inlet because of heavy rain, a spokesperson for Granite Construction told WFTV.
Orlando Fire Department crews rescued the men. Green died of his injuries, but the other man was treated at a hospital and released, officials said.
Virgin Trains said it conducting an investigation, the television station reported.
