Joseph R. Biden is betting on Mark Hamill’s “Luke Skywalker” celebrity status to capture big bucks for his presidential campaign.

The “Star Wars” icon is slated to host a “Virtual Conversation about Hope & Democracy” on June 30 for the presumptive Democratic candidate, with tickets starting “at $500 per person, and rise to $100,000 for those who want to be listed as co-chairs,” Deadline reported.

Mr. Hamill, an outspoken critic of President Trump, reacted to the entertainment website’s piece by tweeting, “Help us Joe-bi Wan, you’re our only hope!
#PleaseJoinUs,” a reference to the late Carrie Fisher’s lines from the 1977 classic “Star  Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope.”

Previous fundraisers for the former vice president’s campaign have included celebrities such as Jay Leno, Barbra Streisand, Jennifer Hudson, John Legend and Andra Day, the website noted.

A specific time for the “Hope  & Democracy” event has not yet been announced.
