Running back Ezekiel Elliott is among a group of Dallas Cowboys who have tested positive for coronavirus, according to a new report.
Elliott, 24, is “feeling good,” his agent told The NFL Network. The NFL Network reported Monday that “several” players from the Cowboys and Houston Texans tested positive recently for COVID-19.
Elliott joins the Broncos’ Von Miller, Rams’ Brian Allen and the Redskins’ Antonio Gandy-Golden as the known NFL players to have contracted the virus.
In his four seasons, Elliott has emerged as one of the league’s best rushers. The three-time Pro Bowler led the league in rushing in 2018 and had 1,357 rushing yards last year.
In a statement, the Cowboys told the NFL Network that they were unable to comment due to privacy laws.
Elliott was believed to outside the Cowboys’ facility as players have not yet been allowed back at their team headquarters since the league issued a work-from-home order in March.
