ST. CHARLES, Mo. (AP) - Police in eastern Missouri have identified two people found dead last week inside a St. Charles apartment.
The bodies of Darnell Randall, 32, and Shirley Hendrick, 21, were found June 2, police said. The discovery came after officers were sent to the apartment to check on the welfare of someone there. Both of the victims had been shot, according to St. Charles police.
Authorities have not given details about how the shooting occurred, but said the two were believed to have lived together in the apartment.
Police had earlier said the shootings did not appear to be random and that there is no ongoing danger to the public.
