Starbucks will require customers to wear face coverings at all of its U.S. cafe locations starting July 15.
Several coffee shops already mandate customers wear face masks in jurisdictions where the public is required to wear coverings indoors.
In an announcement Thursday, Starbucks said it is trying to play a “constructive role in supporting health and government officials as they work to mitigate the spread of COVID-19.”
Customers not wearing a facial covering will have various options to order at Starbucks including through delivery or at the drive-thru or with curbside pickup at select locations where there is no local government mandate.
