Barbra Streisand has her eyes on one man to lead the nation in a post-President Trump world: Adam Schiff.

The liberal activist told fans Friday that the California Democrat has proven himself worthy to lead the nation during impeachment proceedings against Mr. Trump.

“Adam Schiff is so impressive,” she tweeted. “His knowledge of the law… his passion… his articulateness. His sincerity! He speaks the truth and would make a great president.”

Ms. Streisand has insisted for years that former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton “won the election” in 2016.

“I really believe she won the election,” she said in February 2018. “I’ve talked to senators from Michigan and Wisconsin. I do believe, like I believed during Bush, they were playing with those voter machines. And [Al Gore] lost by 537 votes out of 104 million. And now, in retrospect, Bush looks quite good compared to Trump. At least he’s not mean-spirited. He’s not a guy who is retaliating for what Obama did at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner.”

The entertainer also admitted prior to the release of her anti-Trump album “Walls” in September 2018 that Mr. Trump’s election sent her into a “ballistic” rage.

“I just can’t stand what’s going on,” she told The Associated Press regarding the Trump administration. “His assault on our democracy, our institutions, our founders — I think we’re in a fight. … We’re in a war for the soul of America.”
