LAFAYETTE, La. (AP) - TiAndre Jackson-Young hit four 3-pointers and scored 18 points off the bench and Jabari Narcis had a double-double to lead Texas-Arlington to an 81-65 win over Louisiana-Lafayette on Thursday night.

Narcis had 10 points and 11 rebounds for his fourth double-double. Sam Griffin added 14 points for Texas-Arlington (7-12, 3-5 Sun Belt Conference), David Azore 12 points.

Texas-Arlington totaled 50 first-half points, a season best for the team, to lead by nine.

Jalen Johnson had 23 points and eight rebounds for the Ragin’ Cajuns (7-12, 2-6) and Tirus Smith added 11 points and 11 rebounds. P.J. Hardy had 10 points.

Cedric Russell scored only 6 points despite entering the contest as the Ragin’ Cajuns’ second leading scorer at 13 points per game. He shot 20 percent from 3-point range (1 of 5).

Texas-Arlington plays Louisiana-Monroe on the road on Saturday. Louisiana-Lafayette plays Texas State at home on Saturday.
