Family friendly has taken a turn toward the pornographic in this country.

And apparently, America is loving it. America, minus the parents trying to raise their children with godly values and virtues, is loving it.

“Shakira and Jennifer Lopez put on a legendary halftime show at the 2020 Super Bowl,” wrote Sporting News.

Not legendary.

Modern-day Madonna.

Recycled 1980s pop tart titillation.

QUIZ: Take the ultimate NFL Super Bowl MVPs trivia challenge

If the point of Super Bowl LIV halftime was to see how far sex could be pushed without bringing in the censors, then congrats to the performers. Rubbing ropes seductively and rolling on the ground, rubbing legs together, climbing onto stripper poles and rubbing crotches — these are acts better belonging in a seedy stripper club than on national television, in front of 13-year-old girls. And younger.

What happened to class.

What happened to talent.

For that, there was Demi Lovato — who slayed with her top-notch rendition of the national anthem.

But the halftime show was a parent’s nightmare. Worse, even, than Super Bowl XXXVIII when Janet Jackson, alongside Justin Timberlake, had that so-called fashion faux pas that briefly left her exposed.

At least that incident was over in a second.

Super Bowl LIV’s halftime lasted about 14 minutes. Fourteen “quick, change the channel” minutes for parents. And for people who just don’t need to see an R-rated flash dance in between football halves.

“@JLo and @shakira and all the special guests were so incredible!!! What a fun halftime show I danced and smiled the whole time. Such powerful sexy women!!!! On camera and off!!!!! Love you beautiful sexy talented women,” tweeted Lady Gaga, after the show.

But why at the Super Bowl?

It’s one thing to be stripper pole sexy.

It’s another to be stripper pole sexy in front of families with kids.

If this is what the NFL and America consider wholesome entertainment — my gosh, imagine how the coming Super Bowl halftimes will be, when each subsequent years’ planners try to outdo the last. By 2025, we’ll have orgies on stage with performers decked in nude-colored body tights. All in the name of family entertainment.
