COLUMBIA, Mo. (AP) - A Missouri man died in a hit-and-run crash in Columbia this week, and police arrested a woman in the case.

The fatal crash happened early Friday morning, when Hunter Sadler, 23, of Mexico, Missouri, was hit as he walked across a Columbia street, television station KOMU reported. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police have said Stephanie Roberts, 33, of Columbia, was behind the wheel and fled the scene.Her damaged car was later found at a Columbia home, and she was arrested on suspicion of leaving the scene and involuntary manslaughter, police said.

Both Roberts and a passenger in her car at the time of the crash suffered minor injuries.
