Four people suffered minor injuries when a commuter train they were on derailed early Saturday as it entered Chicago’s Millennium Station, officials said.
The South Shore Line train carrying 74 passengers was pulling into the station at about 7:30 a.m. when it experienced what officials said was a low-speed derailment.
Four adult passengers who suffered minor injuries were taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital for treatment. The rest of the passengers were safely evacuated, the Chicago Fire Department said.

CHICAGO (WLS) — A South Shore Line train derailed Saturday morning while entering Millennium Station, injuring four people.
The train was pulling into the station about 7:30 a.m. when it experienced a low-speed derailment, a spokesperson for the line said. The third car derailed near lower Monroe Street.
There were 74 passengers on the train, according to the Chicago Fire Department. Four adult passengers suffered minor injuries and were taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital. The rest of the passengers were safely evacuated.

A westbound train experienced a “low-speed, minor derailment” while nearing Millennium Station on Metra tracks, according to an alert from the Northern Indiana Commuter Transportation District, which operates the line.
