RENO, Nev. (AP) - Democratic presidential hopeful Tom Steyer has launched a statewide bus tour in the early caucus state of Nevada with seven campaign stops over three days from Reno to Las Vegas.

The California billionaire who has spent millions of dollars on television ads and campaign mailers in Nevada ahead of the state’s presidential caucuses on Feb. 22 kicked off the tour Tuesday with a meet-and-greet lunch at a Mexican restaurant in rural Gardnerville.

He planned a town hall at the National Automobile Museum in downtown Reno Tuesday night before resuming the tour at a diner in rural Fernley Wednesday morning.

From there, he plans to talk about climate change during a meeting with college students in Reno Wednesday afternoon and an evening appearance at his campaign headquarters in Carson City.

On Thursday, he’s scheduled to speak at a religious forum at a hotel-casino in Las Vegas and participate in a Latino presidential town hall at the College of Southern Nevada in North Las Vegas.
