EROS, La. (AP) - Two home fires have killed three north Louisiana residents in the past week, Louisiana’s state fire marshal said Monday.

A mobile home fire on Sunday in Eros killed a man believed to have been the homeowner, a 63-year-old man described by neighbors as having mobility issues, a news release said.

Another news release said a fire in Shreveport on Saturday killed two people believed to be the homeowners - a couple in their 60s.

All three identities and causes of death must be confirmed by autopsies, the statements said. They said the mobile home fire started in a bedroom, the house fire in the living room. Causes are being investigated.

The Ouachita Parish man was found in what investigators believe to have been a hallway. The Shreveport man was at the door with keys next to his hand, and the woman was a few feet away.

Eros is in Ouachita Parish, about 78 miles (126 kilometers) east of Shreveport.
