Celebrity activist George Clooney wants “dumba—” Americans to stop being concerned about “freedom” when it comes to the coronavirus pandemic.

The actor told Howard Stern that citizens who resist wearing masks in public need to zip it on liberty rhetoric related to COVID-19.

“Just put a f—ing mask on,” said on SiriusXM while promoting his movie “Midnight Sky,” The Hill reported

“This thought where everybody is like, ’Well it’s my freedom,’” he told “The Howard Stern Show” audience Wednesday. “It’s like, that’s not how this sh— works, dumb—.”

Mr. Clooney’s insults echo those given in July by fellow celebrity Tom Hanks.

“Don’t be a p–y, get on with it, do your part,” Mr. Hanks said during a People magazine interview.” It’s very basic. If you’re driving a car, you don’t go too fast, you use your turn signal and you avoid hitting pedestrians.”

Mr. Clooney followed up his comments by saying a different set of expectations, which supersede the Constitution when it comes to pandemics.

“There have to be certain rules,” he said. “This is one that says: Put on a f— mask and we’ll get through this. We’ve got vaccines coming — let’s save another 60,000 lives before the vaccines.”
