Once again, Joe Biden seems to have forgotten he’s supposed to be president.

In remarks to introduce former Mayor Pete Buttigieg of Indiana as the newest member of a Joe Biden White House administration, Biden referenced his looming “most diverse” Cabinet — his looming most diverse “Harris-Biden” Cabinet, as he put it.

Come on, dude.

Get with the program.

You’re supposed to be the president.

Kamala Harris is supposed to be the vice president.

That makes the looming White House a Biden-Harris administration with a Biden-Harris Cabinet.

It’s easy. Easy enough to fit on a teeny tiny teensy weentsie notecard, if need be. Which apparently, it is need be.

“Pete’s gonna help build back better with jobs and hope … and I’m honored he’s answered the call,” Biden said. “So please welcome the next secretary of Transportation, Pete Buttigieg.”

Yay. Cheers all around.

“Mr. President-elect, madam vice president-elect,” Buttigieg began.

Buttigieg knows the deal. Biden, president. Harris, vice president. The looming Biden-Harris administration.

Now somebody tell Biden. Again.
