Media watchdog NewsBusters says New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s name wasn’t on the lips of anyone at CBS, NBC and ABC in recent days after he was accused of sexual harassment by a former aide.

“Yes, @NYGovCuomo sexually harassed me for years. Many saw it, and watched,” Lindsey Boylan, who worked as a special adviser and deputy secretary for economic development for the Democrat from March 2015 through October 2018, tweeted Sunday.

“I could never anticipate what to expect,” she continued in a series of tweets. “Would I be grilled on my work (which was very good) or harassed about my looks. Or would it be both in the same conversation? This was the way for years. Not knowing what to expect what’s the most upsetting part aside from knowing that no one would do a damn thing even when they saw it. No one. And I *know* I am not the only woman.”

Mr. Cuomo’s press secretary insisted that “there is simply no truth to these claims,” Fox News reported.

Ms. Boylan is currently running for Manhattan borough president.

NewsBusters followed up its reporting on “predictably silent” network newscasts by noting their previous coverage of Mr. Cuomo as an eligible “bachelor” and curiosity over any “phase one” romantic relationships.

“Will these shows now follow through on the idea that we should ’believe all women?’” the watchdog’s Scott Whitlock asked. “Or does that only apply to Republicans and conservatives?”
