CEDAR RAPIDS, Neb. (AP) - One man has died in a fiery crash just southwest of Cedar Rapids, Nebraska, authorities said.

The crash happened around 5 a.m. Thursday on state Highway 22, the Nancy County Sheriff’s Office said. Deputies and firefighters arrived on the scene to find a car on fire in a ditch. After extinguishing the fire, officials found the body of Steven Roan, 44, of Cedar Rapids, inside the car.

No other injuries were reported.

Cedar Rapids is about 115 miles (185 kilometers) northwest of Omaha.
