The extensive presence of international dignitaries in this gathering shows global attention to the Iranian Resistance. I also join to express my support for the Iranian people’s struggle for freedom and democracy. We, in Albania, are hosting the Mojahedin-e Khalq, as is the Albanian tradition of opening our door to people whose lives are in danger.

The Iranian dissidents have been part of our community in Manza, close to Durres municipality, for three years. During these years, they have developed friendly relationships with the local community. There is mutual respect and understanding between our communities. In these difficult times, I would like to say the Ashraf 3 has played a positive role in our area by providing humanitarian aid to the local residents. I would also like to thank Ashraf 3 for their help during the earthquake in November 2019. We are hopeful that the residents of Ashraf 3 can return to their country very soon when freedom and democracy is restored in Iran.
