“Saturday Night Live” announced Thursday that NBC will broadcast an “at-home” version of the show for the time after briefly halting production due to the coronavirus pandemic.

“We’re back this Saturday,” read a posting from the program’s Twitter account.

The tweet was accompanied by a video featuring the show’s cast members but otherwise lacking details about the episode, including information about any guest host or musical act.

Kenan Thompson, a cast member since 2003, said in the video that the broadcast will be the second “SNL at home,” coming on the heels of an unprecedented such episode this month.

After indefinitely halting production in March as a result of the novel coronavirus, “SNL” resumed its 45th season April 11 with an episode composed of new content created mostly within the homes of its cast members on their computer webcams. Tom Hanks hosted and contributed a monologue filmed while the actor recovers from COVID-19, the disease caused by the novel coronavirus, and Coldplay musician Chris Martin performed.

NBC referred to the tweet when asked about the upcoming episode.
