CLEMSON, S.C. (AP) - Former Atlantic Coast Conference player of the year C.J. Spiller is among eight people who have been named to the Clemson’s Hall of Fame.
The athletic department announced the group Monday.
Spiller played running back for four seasons with the Tigers, winning ACC honors in 2009 before going on to eight seasons in the NFL.
Also named to the hall were ex-Tiger basketball player Trevor Booker, who led Clemson to three NCAA Tournament appearances before playing eight NBA seasons.
College baseball hall of fame coach Jack Leggett was also selected for the Clemson hall. He led the Tigers to six College World Series appearances in 22 years as coach.
The group will be honored Oct. 16-17.
