OMAHA, Neb. (AP) - First responders called to a north Omaha home for a reported medical emergency instead found the body of a woman inside, police said.

Police are now investigating the death as a homicide.

The 911 call was made around 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, police said, by someone who said they were performing CPR on the unresponsive victim. But Omaha firefighters and medics who arrived on the scene said the woman was already dead, and they summoned police.

Police identified the woman Thursday as Ebony King, 37, of Omaha.

No arrests had been reported by Thursday, and police were asking the public’s help for any information on the death.
