The NBA and ESPN tried to fill the void of no live sports with a HORSE tournament. It was a fun idea on paper: NBA, WNBA and former basketball stars would compete from their homes and come up with trick shots the average person couldn’t do.
But the actual execution didn’t draw rave reviews.
After airing the first round of the tournament Sunday, the NBA and ESPN were panned for the broadcast — with some citing a lack of entertainment and others complaining about the poor picture quality.

These attempts of sports from ESPN (2K Tournament, HORSE, etc) haven’t been enough. I applaud them for trying, but I’d rather just watch straight highlights, championship games, and more of each sport. It would be more entertaining.
