NEWPORT, N.H. (AP) - Organizers of a festival in Newport, New Hampshire, don’t want attendees to just stop and smell the flowers - they want to put people to work.
The Newport Sunflower Festival on Saturday features an attempt to set a record for the most people making flower bouquets simultaneously. According to Guinness World Records, there is no current record holder for that title.
The festival started at 10 a.m. on the town green, with the bouquet-making effort starting later. The festival includes music and food trucks.
