This isn’t going to come as a shock, but it turns out an 0-4 team is a massive underdog against the defending Super Bowl champions.
The New England Patriots will be 15-point favorites when they visit FedEx Field next Sunday to take on the Washington Redskins, according to BetOnline. This season, the Patriots are undefeated and have only given up one defensive touchdown.
According to Michael Phillips of the Richmond-Times Dispatch, the spread is the most points the Redskins have ever given up at home.
Patriots are favored by 15.5 on Sunday. That’s the most points the Redskins have ever given an opponent at home. A trip through other similar lines…

(Note: Some sports books have the Redskins listed at 15 1/2)
The Redskins are off to their worst start since 2001, falling to 0-4 Sunday with a 24-3 loss to the New York Giants.
Washington, too, has not revealed who will be the starting quarterback for next week. Dwayne Haskins replaced Case Keenum in Sunday’s loss, but Gruden did not commit to the rookie starting vs. New England.
