Embattled star wide receiver Antonio Brown will try to recover as much as $61 million he believes he’s owed by filing nine grievances and appeals against his former teams, ESPN reported.

The total number of appeals is a record for a single player in the same period of time, according Adam Schefter.

Brown is seeking to recoup everything from the fines he was assessed by the Oakland Raiders to salary guarantees and signing bonuses he had with both Oakland and the New England Patriots.

If the NFL suspends Brown, ESPN reported, he would appeal that ruling as well, which would make nine appeals and grievances in one season.

The Raiders released Brown at his request after a falling-out between the receiver and general manager Mike Mayock. Right before the boiling point of the relationship, the Raiders reportedly voided Brown’s $29 million guaranteed money over “conduct detrimental to the team” because Brown missed much of training camp over a helmet dispute with the NFL and later had a heated argument with Mayock.

The Patriots agreed to terms with Brown hours after Oakland released him, but a few days later, a civil suit was filed against Brown in Florida alleging he raped his former personal trainer. He played for New England in Week 2 but was cut before Week 3.

Brown has said on social media that he will not play in the NFL anymore, feeling slighted by the team, and he’s enrolled in online classes at his former college, Central Michigan.
