BRIGHTON, Colo. (AP) - Six high school students and two adults were taken to the hospital for evaluation and treatment of injuries after the school bus they were in overturned on a road in suburban Denver.
A school district spokeswoman says there were no serious injuries in Wednesday morning’s accident.
Officials say the crash happened south of Brighton and involved only the 27J School District bus, which was taking students to Prairie View High School.
District spokeswoman Tracy Rudnick says the bus was about five minutes away from dropping the students off at school when the crash occurred. She says the students and adults were taken to two Denver-area hospitals with injuries she described as “not serious.”
The crash is under investigation.
