New York Giants running back Saquon Barkley was ruled out for the rest of Sunday’s game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers after leaving with an ankle injury.

The 2018 first-rounder was spotted in a boot and with crutches on the sideline.

The reigning Offensive Rookie of the Year, Barkley rushed for 1,307 yards for 15 touchdowns and had 91 receptions for 721 yards last year. He became the focal point of the Giants’ offense.

The Redskins play the Giants in Week 4, so if Barkley’s injury lingers, there’s a possibility Washington will get to face New York without him.
