His time with the Washington Redskins ended Saturday, but wide receiver Josh Doctson has caught on with a new team.
Doctson signed a one-year contract with the Minnesota Vikings on Monday, ESPN reported.

In Minnesota, Doctson will reunite with former Washington quarterback Kirk Cousins. The Redskins visit Minnesota in Week 8.
In three seasons with Washington, Doctson caught just 81 balls for 1,100 yards and eight touchdowns in 33 appearances. The 2016 first-round pick fought through an Achilles injury and failed to live up to expectations.
Doctson was ultimately left off the initial 53-man roster this year as Washington kept Robert Davis, Steven Sims Jr. and rookies Terry McLaurin and Kelvin Harmon behind usual starters Paul Richardson and Trey Quinn. He cleared waivers Sunday before latching on with the Vikings.
