FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) - A company in northwest Arkansas that makes aluminum wheels says it will eliminate at least 250 jobs before next summer.
Superior Industries International said Wednesday it will eliminate between 250 and 281 jobs between Nov. 18 and June 2020 at its facility in Fayetteville.
The Fayetteville Chamber of Commerce tells KFSM that Superior has been in the city for more than 30 years.
The facility makes aluminum wheels for automakers.
In 2014, the company closed its plant in Rogers, leaving about 500 people out of work. Then, other employees were shifted to the Fayetteville location and to Superior plants in Mexico.
