MIAMI (AP) - Police in Miami say three California men used stolen credit cards to buy more than $100,000 in luxury items including a Rolex watch aboard Carnival Cruise Line ship Victory.

U.S. Customs and Border Patrol quickly discovered that 26-year-old Myrick Rucker Jr. had a bench warrant in California when he got off the ship in Miami on Tuesday.

The Miami Herald reports Rucker tried to get rid of the Rolex as he was led to another checkpoint.

A police report says agents found that Rucker, along with Sheldon Johnson and Sirvontre Ingram, used stolen credit cards to make numerous purchases.

Investigators say the men denied using stolen cards.

The case was handed over to Miami-Dade police. They’re charged with grand theft, fraudulent use of credit cards and organized fraud.
