SKULLY VALLEY, Utah (AP) - The Utah Highway Patrol says a wrong-way vehicle caused a head-on crash on Interstate 80 west of metro Salt Lake City.
The Highway Patrol shut down I-80 in the Skull Valley area Tuesday morning while landing a helicopter to pick up a person who was being transported in serious but stable condition.
According to the Highway Patrol, the wrong-way driver was traveling eastbound in the westbound lanes and that they suspect impairment was involved.
