DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) - Police in Des Moines have announced two more arrests in the fatal shooting of a man earlier this month on the city’s north side.
Police say they’ve charged 17-year-old Rodney Allen Brown Jr. and 16-year-old Jackson Calaway each with one count of first-degree murder and one count of first-degree robbery. They were arrested in connection with the shooting death of 23-year-old Rashid Mohamed Ibrahim.
Both teens are from Des Moines and will be tried in adult court.
Ibrahim was found by officers sent to investigate reports of a shooting. He was pronounced dead at a hospital.
Police previously arrested 18-year-old Gregory Samuel Hampton Jr. and Adam Ahmad Ismail, both of Des Moines.
