NEWTON, Mass. (AP) - The Anti-Defamation League is holding a forum in Massachusetts dedicated to combatting anti-Semitism.
The event Sunday at the Newton Marriott will include presentations by leading experts on anti-Semitism and skill building workshops for adults, students and families.
The goal is to have participants leave the Good Fight Forum with a plan for confronting anti-Semitism.
The forum comes on the anniversary of the attack on the Tree of Life synagogue in Pittsburgh that left 11 worshippers dead. The program will open with a community commemoration of the attack with leading rabbis.
Presenters include U.S. Rep. Joe Kennedy III; CNN anchor John Berman; NAACP Boston President Tanisha Sulliva; Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan; and Boston Globe columnist Jeff Jacoby.
