BOSTON (AP) - The Transportation Security Administration says for the third time this month officials have discovered a loaded gun in a passenger’s carry-on bag at Boston’s airport.

TSA officers at Logan International Airport seized the gun when a Yarmouth man’s belongings went through an X-ray machine last Friday.

The man was carrying a 9mm gun loaded with 10 bullets.

State Police spokesman David Procopio says the man will be summoned to appear in district court. No name was provided.

The TSA says travelers are not allowed to hold guns in their carry-on bags even if they have a gun permit.

It was the 15th gun found in passengers’ luggage at Logan this year.
